World Sauna Moment
Where will you be this coming Saturday afternoon? Would you like to join us on the sauna bench?
The 2nd annual World Sauna Moment is Saturday, April 3rd 2021, 5:00 pm (1700 h) your time. This is a moment is when we can share a toast as we enjoy our own sauna sessions, and be connected together in spirit with others.
As many of you know, the 1st World Sauna Moment took place exactly one year ago, when we were in great uncertainty, in global pandemic shut down mode. At that moment, folks from all over the world fired up their saunas, all at the same time, and felt the “oneness” of great sauna action.
And now, one year later, we are emerging stronger and healthier, thanks to incredible efforts from health care workers and researchers giving us vaccines and knowledge to win this global battle.
So, World Sauna Moment is a chance for all of us to celebrate together. Please join us for sauna and a toast at 5pm. We encourage you to capture your world sauna moment on April 3rd and post to your favorite social media platform with the hashtag:

Bookable Sauna Businesses
In communities where there have been no mobile saunas, we will soon find one mobile sauna.
There will be many more of these.
In communities where we have mobile and brick & mortar sauna businesses, we will soon find these businesses to be busy once again. Here in North America, I see pioneers like Stokeyard, Löyly Portland, 612, Wandering, Nomad, Gathering, Red Hot, Driftwood, and a whole map of others being rewarded for their long term commitment to good sauna.
There will be many more of these.
Backyard saunas
I see more family gatherings, couples reconnecting, thermogenical cold plunge action, kids frolicking underneath backyard showers. Happy parents. Those (of us) who have invested in our own health and wellness backyard retreats are very happy.
There will be many more of these.
Cabin saunas
Many more cottage saunas, great insurance policies for rainy days and nothing better than enjoying sauna time in Nature.
There will be many more of these.
I see the Sauna Research Institute expanding global collaboration, helping validate what we all know is true. Sauna is good for us.
I see people from the World’s Happiest Country sharing their smiles with others who appreciate authentic sauna.
I wake up and I see sauna kicking ass, and I am grateful and honored to be apart of it.
